Christian James Koehler was born on February 5, 1999. Christian was a healthy 9 year old boy who lived in East Islip, NY and was an avid lacrosse and football player. In May of 2008, he was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumor. He immediately started chemotherapy and was treated at Cornell to remove the brain tumor.
